Members & Directors

The Members of the Multi Academy Trust are Bishop Peter Collins, Rev Canon David Bagstaff, Mr Fred Corbett, and Diocesan Schools Director Dr Andy Stone. They appoint the Board of Directors to ensure the Trust is run in accordance with its aims and object.

The Directors are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the quality of educational provision
  • Challenging and monitoring performance
  • Managing finances and property
  • Managing the Headteachers of each academy

The Directors are:

Julie O'Connor
Retired Director of the Roman Catholic Diocese of East Anglia's Diocesan Schools Commission.
 

Lorraine Prince
Head of Networks at the Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership.
 

Kim Payne
Chief Executive Officer, previously Headteacher of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School.
 

Mark Welsh
Head of Education and Employability at EFL Trust. Previously Project Manager at NCC Children’s Services with extensive experience at a variety of colleges, training providers and charitable trusts within Adult and Youth Offending (13-19) and SEMH provision.

Mary Sparrow
Company Director at a local leisure company. Wide experience in the education sector at both primary and secondary phases. Chair of the Directors (Trustees) at St John the Baptist Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

Neville Kyrke-Smith
National Director of Aid to the Church in Need UK for 31 years. Awarded the Papal Knighthood of St Gregory in 2021 in recognition of his work at ACN for suffering Christians. Parishioner at St Benet’s, Beccles, and involved with a number of charities. 
 

Dan Mckeown
Headteacher of Coltishall Primary School, with extensive experience of leadership coaching and development.
 

Phil Beecher
Chief Operating Officer at a Norfolk Multi Academy Trust. Chartered accountant with wide experience of strategy, risk management, procurement and governance.

Fr Alan Hodgson
Studied at the Pontifical  College Beda and ordained in 2019, Fr Alan served as assistant priest at St Mary’s, Ipswich and Our Lady of the Assumption and the English Martyrs in Cambridge and was appointed as Dean of the Cathedral Church of St John the Baptist in Norwich in 2022.
